Outpatient Department

Outpatient department was established in 1964 as part of the city oncologic dispensary.

The staff of the outpatient department of the Budgetary Public Health Facility Oncology Dispensary No. 2 of the Department of Health of the Krasnodar Region consists of 12 doctors: 2 gynecologists, 2 mammologists, 2 surgeon-oncologists, 1 hematologist, 1 radiologist, 2 urologists, 1 ORT specialist, 1 head of the outpatient department (3 doctors work part-time). Among them, 4 highest category doctors, 1 first category doctor, 2 second category doctors. There are 10 nurses in the outpatient department staff, three highest category nurses, and five first category nurses.
All doctors and nurses are certified.

Outpatient department

The department operates in two shifts from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
The department’s admitting office is open from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
The department has from 150 to 200 patients per day.
Mammologist sees patients from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Oncologist (surgeon) sees patients from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Gynecologist sees patients from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Head and neck tumors oncologist sees patients from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Dentist sees patients on Wednesdays 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Oncologist-urologist sees patients from 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. and from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Hematologist sees patients from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Radiologist sees patients from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
The staff of outpatient department has 3 regional oncologists; the patients are admitted in Lazarevsky, Adlersky and Tsentralny districts daily 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

The outpatient department provides the following services:

1. Admits patients directed by health facilities, as well as patients who applied independently.
2. Consults patients from Tuapse, as well as other Russian and foreign citizens.
3. Provides clarifying diagnostics of patients with suspected oncological diseases.
4. Conducts clinical examinations of oncology patients.
5. Oversees the organization of oncological service in polyclinics and antenatal clinics of the city.
6. Provides open reception for the population during “open days”.
The following endoscopic examinations are performed in the clinic: esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, rectoscopy, colposcopy, and cystoscopy.

Outpatient department performs diagnostic and treatment manipulations: diathermocoagulation of the cervix uteri + cervical conization, electrocoagulation of skin tumors, pleural and sternal puncture, paracentesis, puncture for cytology, trepanobiopsy of mammary tumors, neoplasms biopsies, X-ray examinations (radiography, fluoroscopy, lower gastrointestinal series, mammography).
The outpatient department of oncologic dispensary has an ultrasound diagnostics room for the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, adrenal glands, spleen, lymphatic system, thyroid, mammary glands, and pelvic organs in men and women studies. The doctors’ rooms are open in two shifts and require a prior appointment.
